We are seeking an accomplished Chief Financial Officer to lead the organization's financial strategy, capital planning, and funding agenda. The role requires a seasoned finance leader with deep expertise in corporate finance, fundraising, treasury, and strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, and capital providers. The CFO will be a key strategic partner to the CEO and Board in driving sustainable growth, optimizing capital structure, and ensuring robust governance and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the finance function for India operations, ensuring robust accounting, reporting, and governance practices.
- Oversee statutory compliance including direct & indirect taxation, GST, and FEMA regulations.
- Manage audit processes (internal, statutory, and global group audits), ensuring timely closures and alignment with group standards.
- Develop and execute fundraising strategies (debt/equity), liaising with banks, financial institutions, and investors.
- Lead end-to-end fundraising across debt, structured finance, securitization, and capital market instruments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, DFIs, NBFC lenders, investors, and rating agencies.
- Drive liability strategy, diversification of funding sources, and cost of funds optimization.
- Manage term loans, ECBs, NCDs, securitization/assignment, and warehouse lines.
- Develop long-term financial strategy aligned to business growth plans.
- Oversee ALM, liquidity planning, and capital adequacy.
- Monitor borrowing mix, interest cost, and balance sheet efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and other applicable global reporting standards.
- Drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization to support business growth.
- Partner with business leaders on investment decisions, M&A opportunities, and expansion projects.
- Build and mentor a strong finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Act as a strategic advisor to the Group leadership, supporting long-term growth and risk management in India.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification (CPA, CMA preferred).
- 20-26 years of post-qualification experience, with at least 5+ years in a leadership/CFO role.
- Strong expertise in Accounting, Taxation, Audit, Fundraising, FEMA, and IFRS.
- Prior experience in multinational or diversified group structures preferred.
- Proven ability to partner with global leadership teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
