Job Summary
The CFO will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring robust financial planning, compliance with regulatory requirements, and effective communication with stakeholders in the stock market. The role demands strategic leadership, deep expertise in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), stock market reporting, and taxation, along with a proven track record in a publicly listed company in India.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the companys long-term goals, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, investor presentations, and regulatory filings in compliance with SEBI and other statutory requirements.
- Manage direct and indirect tax planning, ensuring compliance with Indian tax laws (GST, Income Tax, etc.) and optimizing tax strategies.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring robust internal controls and governance frameworks.
- Act as the primary liaison with investors, analysts, auditors, and regulatory bodies, maintaining transparency and building trust.
- Oversee capital structure, fundraising activities, and liquidity management to support business expansion and operational needs.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.
- Ensure adherence to corporate governance standards, ethical practices, and compliance with all regulatory requirements for a listed company.
Qualifications and Experience
Educational Background: Chartered Accountant (CA) - need brilliant academic records, MBA in Finance in addition will help , or equivalent qualification from a reputed institute.
Experience:
- Minimum of 18 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting.
- At least 5 years as CFO in a publicly listed company in India.
- Strong expertise in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), with a proven ability to drive
strategic financial initiatives.
- Extensive experience in stock market reporting, including SEBI compliance, quarterly/annual reports, and investor relations.
- In-depth knowledge of Indian taxation laws, including GST, Income Tax, and transfer pricing.
