Job Description:
We are looking for an accomplished Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the finance function of a leading apparel manufacturing group. The role will be responsible for overall financial strategy, planning, profitability, cash flow, risk management, compliance, and business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall Finance, Accounts, Taxation, Treasury, MIS, and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) functions.
- Develop and execute the organization's financial strategy aligned with business growth objectives.
- Drive P&L management, profitability improvement, cost optimization, and working capital management.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and management reporting.
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, treasury operations, banking relationships, and fund requirements.
- Ensure robust financial controls, governance, statutory compliance, and risk management.
- Lead financial reporting, audits, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
- Provide strategic financial insights to the Board and senior leadership to support business decisions.
- Partner with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Merchandising, and Commercial teams to improve business performance.
- Drive financial systems, processes, controls, and digital transformation across the finance function.
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, investors, financial institutions, and other key stakeholders.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance leadership team.
Candidate Profile:
- 25+ years of experience, with significant leadership experience in apparel - textile manufacturing or a large manufacturing organization.
- Proven experience as CFO / Finance Director / Head of Finance in a large-scale business.
- Strong expertise in P&L management, financial strategy, treasury, working capital, taxation, compliance, and corporate finance.
- Strong commercial acumen and experience partnering with business leadership to drive growth and profitability.
- Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.
- CA / equivalent professional qualification preferred.
