Role Purpose:

The Chief Financial Officer will be a key strategic partner to the Managing Director and promoters as Agrow Allied embarks on an ambitious growth journey scaling revenue from approximately 600 crore to 1,220-1,300 crore over the next three years, backed by fresh growth capital from ICICI Venture.

The CFO will lead the finance function through this phase of institutional capital, capacity expansion and organisational professionalisation building capital markets readiness, strengthening governance and financial controls, and ensuring the finance organisation is equipped to support a significantly larger, more complex business.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Business Partnership:

- Act as a trusted advisor to the Managing Director and promoters on strategic, financial and investment matters.

- Partner closely with the leadership team on capacity expansion, new product registrations and international growth initiatives.

- Provide financial insights to support pricing, product mix and market expansion decisions across domestic and export markets.

2. Capital Markets and Investor Relations:

- Manage the relationship with ICICI Venture and other institutional investors, ensuring transparent and timely reporting.

- Build capital markets readiness across governance, disclosure, financial reporting and board processes.

- Lead preparation for potential future fundraising, private equity participation or IPO, as the company scales.

3. Finance Transformation and Governance:

- Build a scalable, professional finance organisation capable of supporting a 1,200+ crore enterprise.

- Strengthen internal controls, delegation frameworks, approval mechanisms and risk management processes.

- Institutionalise budgeting, forecasting and management reporting practices aligned with institutional investor expectations.

4. Funding and Capital Management:

- Deploy the recently raised growth capital effectively across capacity expansion, R&D and international registrations.

- Develop long-term funding strategies, manage banking relationships and evaluate financing alternatives to support continued growth.

- Optimise working capital, cash conversion cycles and liquidity management across a growing manufacturing and export business.

5. Capital Expenditure and Growth Investments:

- Evaluate manufacturing capacity expansion and other strategic investment opportunities at the Kothputli facility and beyond.

- Build financial models and investment evaluation frameworks to support the company's growth roadmap.

- Monitor project execution economics and return expectations.

6. Statutory Compliance and Financial Reporting:

- Ensure accuracy, integrity and timeliness of financial reporting, taxation and statutory compliance.

- Maintain strong relationships with auditors, regulators, banks and advisors.

- Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting, governance and agrochemical industry regulatory standards.

7. Team Leadership:

- Lead a 12-member finance team at AGM / DGM level, comprising qualified Chartered Accountants.

- Build a high-performance finance organisation and succession pipeline as the company scales.

- Create a culture of accountability, professionalism and continuous improvement within the finance function.

Candidate Profile - Must Haves:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is essential.

- Strong capital markets experience is essential.

- Prior IPO experience is essential.

- Experience working within a promoter-driven / owner-led company is essential.

- Background in agrochemicals or speciality chemicals is strongly preferred.

- Should currently be with, or have come from, a company in the 1,0002,000 crore revenue range.
