Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned financial leader to serve as the Chief Financial Officer based in Mumbai, acting as the primary architect of our long-term fiscal strategy. In this capacity, you will oversee the entire finance function, serving as a key advisor to the Board and the CEO while driving high-stakes initiatives including M&A, capital restructuring, and public market readiness. You will lead cross-functional collaboration with internal leadership and external stakeholders, including investors, bankers, and regulatory bodies, to ensure the companys capital structure is optimized for aggressive growth. Your leadership will directly influence the organization's valuation, market positioning, and ability to scale operations in a competitive landscape.

20+ Years of experience post CA.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end fund-raising mandates, including private equity and debt financing, to ensure the organization maintains a robust balance sheet for expansion.

- Spearhead M&A activities by conducting rigorous due diligence, valuation, and post-merger integration to drive inorganic growth and market consolidation.

- Direct the preparation and execution of the IPO process, managing relationships with investment bankers, legal counsel, and regulatory authorities to ensure a seamless public listing.

- Drive strategic financial planning and analysis to provide the Board with actionable insights that improve profitability and operational efficiency.

- Oversee corporate governance and financial reporting standards, ensuring full compliance with statutory requirements while maintaining transparency for shareholders.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex capital structures and executing large-scale corporate finance transactions for high-growth organizations.

- Proven ability to navigate the intricacies of public market listings and investor relations, backed by 15 to 26 years of progressive experience in finance leadership.

- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial narratives to diverse audiences, including institutional investors and board members.

- Strong strategic foresight in identifying market opportunities and mitigating financial risks through data-driven decision-making.

- A professional qualification such as a Chartered Accountant is mandatory reflecting a strong foundation in corporate finance and accounting principles.

- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, on-site work environment in Mumbai, demonstrating the agility required to lead teams through rapid organizational change.
