Role : hief Financial Officer (CFO)

Role Overview :

The Chief Financial Officer will serve as a pivotal member of the executive leadership team, steering the financial health and strategic direction for defense and aerospace equipment Manufacturing company. This role involves close collaboration with the CEO, Board of Directors, and practice leads to formulate and execute financial strategies that support the firm's ambitious growth objectives. The CFO will be instrumental in optimizing capital allocation, managing financial risks, and ensuring robust financial governance, directly impacting the firm's profitability and long-term value creation and enabling strategic decision-making across all business units.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies, aligning with the firm's strategic goals and market dynamics, to ensure sustainable growth and profitability.

- Oversee all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, providing accurate and timely insights to the executive team and Board.

- Manage treasury functions, capital structure, and cash flow, optimizing liquidity and investment returns while mitigating financial risks.

- Lead financial due diligence and integration for potential mergers, acquisitions, or strategic partnerships, evaluating financial viability and synergy opportunities.

- Establish and maintain robust internal controls, financial policies, and compliance frameworks, adhering to regulatory standards and best practices.

- Provide strategic financial counsel to the CEO and Board on business development, operational efficiency, and market expansion initiatives.

- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in financial strategy, corporate finance, treasury management, and M&A, with a proven track record of driving financial performance in a consulting or professional services environment.

- Deep understanding of accounting principles (IFRS/Indian GAAP), taxation, and regulatory compliance.

- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels and building strong relationships.

- Strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities, adept at translating complex financial data into actionable business insights.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and driving results.

- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification

- A minimum of 20-25 years of progressive experience in senior financial leadership roles, preferably within a consulting firm or a high-growth professional services organization.
