Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial strategy and operations for a multinational organization with a presence in Building Materials and FMCG sectors.

The ideal candidate will bring strong financial leadership, strategic thinking, and experience in managing complex, multi-business environments.

This role will be instrumental in driving financial performance, governance, and long-term business growth.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs):

- Lead overall financial strategy, planning, and execution aligned with organizational goals and global standards.

- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support business decision-making.

- Drive financial performance, profitability, and cost optimization across business units.

- Manage financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery to stakeholders and global headquarters.

- Ensure adherence to statutory, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements.

- Lead treasury, cash flow management, working capital optimization, and capital allocation strategies.

- Partner with business leadership to drive strategic initiatives, investments, and expansion plans.

- Oversee audits, taxation, and compliance across domestic and international operations.

- Build and lead high-performing finance teams, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

- Implement robust internal controls, risk management frameworks, and financial governance processes.

- Support mergers, acquisitions, and business restructuring initiatives where applicable.

- Drive digital transformation and automation within the finance function.

Required Skillsets:

- Strong expertise in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), budgeting, and forecasting.

- Deep knowledge of corporate finance, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards (IFRS/IND AS/GAAP).

- Experience in FMCG and/or Building Materials industry.

- Strong understanding of taxation, compliance, audit, and regulatory frameworks.

- Expertise in treasury management, cash flow optimization, and working capital management.

- Proven experience in strategic financial leadership within MNC environments.

- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and financial systems.

- Experience in risk management, internal controls, and governance frameworks.

- Ability to drive business transformation, cost efficiency, and profitability initiatives.

- Strong exposure to stakeholder management including board, investors, and global leadership teams.

- Excellent analytical and decision-making capabilities.

Education:

CA (Chartered Accountant) or MBA in Finance from a reputed institution
