Job Summary:


We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial operations of our growing construction business. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in capital management, compliance, financial reporting, and project-based financial analysis to ensure long-term profitability and financial stability.


Key Responsibilities:


Project Finance & Cost Control:


- Oversee capital allocation and evaluate ROI across multiple construction projects.


- Guide bid evaluations, contract negotiations, and budget planning with financial insights.


- Implement robust cost control measures to improve profitability and mitigate overruns.


Financial Operations:


- Manage cash flow to ensure timely disbursements to contractors, vendors, and suppliers.


- Identify and proactively address financial risks related to compliance, credit, and budgeting.


- Ensure adherence to statutory regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards.


Reporting & Analysis:


- Develop and present customized financial reports (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow).


- Monitor project-specific costing, overheads, margins, and profitability.


- Deliver actionable insights to leadership on financial performance and operational health.


Capital Strategy & Funding:


- Design and execute funding strategies, including loans, credit lines, and partnerships.


- Maintain strong relationships with banks, investors, and funding agencies.


- Optimize the capital structure to support scalable and sustainable growth.


Requirements:


Required Skills:


- In-depth knowledge of construction accounting, job costing, and contract compliance.


- Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.


- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.


- Solid understanding of construction-specific financial laws (e.g., lien regulations, bonding, taxation).


- Ability to manage diverse and concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.


Qualifications:


- Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is mandatory.


- Prior experience in infrastructure or commercial construction projects is highly preferred.
