Chief Financial Officer - Broking Firm

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Leadership

- Drive the company's financial strategy in alignment with business growth, profitability, and risk appetite

- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance tracking

- Provide strategic financial insights to the Board and senior leadership to support decision-making

- Lead capital allocation, treasury management, and working capital optimization

Accounting, Controls & Compliance

- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with Ind AS, SEBI, NSE/BSE, and other regulatory requirements

- Strengthen internal financial controls, risk management frameworks, and audit processes

- Oversee statutory audits, internal audits, tax audits, and regulatory inspections

- Manage direct and indirect taxation, including GST, income tax, and transfer pricing

Capital Markets & Fund Management

- Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, credit rating agencies, and lenders

- Lead fundraising initiatives including equity, debt, or structured instruments as required

- Oversee liquidity management, margin funding, and regulatory capital adequacy

Investor Relations

- Act as the primary point of contact for investors, shareholders, analysts, and rating agencies

- Develop and execute a comprehensive investor relations strategy to enhance transparency and investor confidence

- Prepare and present quarterly, annual, and event-based investor communications, including earnings calls, presentations, and reports

- Support Board meetings, shareholder meetings, and investor interactions with clear financial narratives

- Ensure timely and accurate disclosures in line with regulatory and governance requirements

Governance & Board Support

- Work closely with the Board and Audit Committee on financial performance, risk management, and governance matters

- Ensure adherence to corporate governance best practices

- Support strategic initiatives such as mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, or restructuring

Team Leadership

- Lead and mentor the finance, accounts, taxation, treasury, and IR teams

- Build a high-performance finance function with strong analytical and compliance capabilities
