Chief Financial Officer - BFSI - CA

Primary Job Duties/Responsibilities :

- Define & drive the organization's financial strategy, capital structure, and fundraising initiatives in alignment with growth objectives and RBI/regulatory requirements.

- Oversee treasury, investments, ALM, and liquidity & cash-flow management to ensure optimal deployment of funds, risk-return balance, and financial sustainability.

- Lead enterprise-wide budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, KPI & variance analysis, and deliver performance reporting to the Board and senior leadership.

- Oversee maintenance of books of accounts in compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements, drafting & implementation of accounting policies and internal financial controls.

- Ensure robust financial governance, internal controls, audits, taxation, statutory & regulatory compliance, and transparent utilization of partner funds.

- Lead preparation, finalization and presentation of financial statements, including balance sheet, profit & loss account, and cash flow statements.

- Build and manage a high-performing finance function while maintaining strategic relationships with regulators, auditors, lenders, investors, rating agencies, and key service providers.

- Oversee end-to-end payment operations, including collection of receivables and processing of payables, ensuring strong cash-flow discipline, contractual compliance, and effective working capital management.

Professional Experience :

- Minimum 7 years of experience in finance, accounts, taxation, and treasury, with at least 3 years in the BFSI sector and experience in a senior leadership role.

- Proven experience in financial strategy, capital planning, fundraising, ALM, investment management, regulatory reporting, and financial risk management.

- Strong exposure to RBI regulatory framework, audits, governance, and Board-level financial reporting.

Educational Qualifications :

- Mandatory : Chartered Accountant (CA) / CFA/ MBA from a recognized institution or equivalent qualifications/certifications
