CFO Role: - Broadly: Responsibility for overall Accounts, Finance and Treasury (AFT) management functions for the stock broking organization along with all regulatory reporting. Briefing: - Based on the Companies Act; stock broking regulatories / quasi-judiciary like SEBI, Exchanges, Depository, RBI, PMLA; and other business operational regualtories like Shop & Establishment, Labour, local Municipality, comply with their regular requirements for adaption- disclosure filing. - Maintenance of Books of Accounts, Taxation (direct and indirect), Finalization, Audits (statutory, concurrent) and Regulatory Filing, including consolidation of branches accounts; preparation of Financial Annual Reports / Quarterly Reports - Finance management expertise towards fund raising through banks, financial institutions, etc. so that requirement towards business regulatory compliance is timely met as well as financial cost of business operations is kept minimal. - Treasury management expertise towards fund / finance management within difference operational business segment of the organization, so as to achieve optimal utilization of available fund; all based on meeting any & all regulatory compliances. - Regular availability of Management Information System (MIS) for senior management / peers with the organization towards functional & business performance of ATF department like intellectual analysis & observation, cash flow and margin statements, budgeting and planning, risk management, over-under charging of a business segment, etc. - Availability of Reports and Records, for conduct of meetings like Board of Directors (BoD) - Co-ordination with regualtory bodies and compliance agencies as needed by the business - Team management, Education Upliftment through regular Learning, Certification (internal as well as external / regulatory). - To establish and improve on business procedures, processes and guidelines for internal and external controls for the AFT department which are appropriate (and approved) for the organizations business growth - Responsibility to Achieve: establish-adhere-excel towards departments schedule of (or general known as calendar of: - Statutory compliance - Internal reporting for business - Departments performance management - Staff's employee management Experience: - Essential: worked at deputy senior / directly assisted the CFO / Head Accounts & Finance for over years; overall experience in accounts & finance of over 7 years. - Additional preferable: worked as CFO / Head - Accounts & Finance of a stock broking business. Qualification: - Essential - Professional: Chartered Accountant. - Essential - skills: Good in written and oral communication, presentation; Good in conceptualizing and convincing skills; Good team builder, manager; Good user of technology; Good understanding of Risk Management for a broking entity. - Additional preferable: Company Secretary / Law Graduate / IBC; NFCM qualification for Equity / DP. - Team to manage: current size of 10 members in the functional department; additionally, some activities being outsourced
