About the Role:

We are looking for a seasoned Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the organization's financial strategy and support aggressive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of scaling high-growth businesses, driving profitability, strengthening financial governance, and partnering with leadership to enable national expansion. This role requires expertise in fundraising, treasury management, financial planning, investor relations, and establishing robust financial systems while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute the company's overall financial strategy aligned with business objectives.

- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term business planning.

- Build strong financial controls, governance frameworks, and risk management processes.

- Drive profitability through effective cost optimization and strategic financial decision-making.

- Manage cash flow, working capital, treasury operations, and capital allocation.

- Lead debt and equity fundraising initiatives and maintain relationships with banks, financial institutions, and investors.

- Work closely with Private Equity investors, lenders, and stakeholders on fundraising and strategic initiatives.

- Ensure compliance with Indian GAAP, statutory regulations, taxation, and corporate governance requirements.

- Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, audits, and MIS reporting.

- Evaluate investment opportunities, project financing, and capital expenditure decisions.

- Build and mentor a high-performing finance organization capable of supporting rapid business expansion.

- Partner with the CEO and leadership team on strategic business decisions, M&A opportunities, and growth initiatives.

- Drive digital transformation and implementation of finance technology solutions to improve efficiency and reporting.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com).

- CA and/or MBA/PGDM (Finance) preferred.

- Extensive experience in senior finance leadership roles, preferably as a CFO or Head of Finance.

- Proven experience in scaling organizations from approximately 100 Crore to 500 Crore revenue is highly preferred.

- Strong experience working with Private Equity (PE) investors, lenders, and fundraising processes.

- Deep understanding of Indian GAAP, financial reporting, compliance, and statutory regulations.

- Demonstrated success in leading finance functions during periods of rapid business growth and expansion.

- Exposure to ERP implementation and finance technology transformation initiatives is an advantage.
