Chief Financial Officer - Automotive Dealership Business

About the Role

We are hiring a Chief Financial Officer for a flagship automotive dealership business within a 70+ year old, family-promoted business house in South India.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As CFO, you will be the senior finance leader for a ~- 1,600 Crore Toyota dealership enterprise, reporting directly to the Promoter/MD. Your primary mandate for the first two years is to drive strategic finance and new business build-out, while strengthening core finance operations, controls, and governance. You will partner closely with the leadership team to identify and evaluate M&A, JV, and strategic investment opportunities, build robust financial models, and structure new ventures. Simultaneously, you will own end-to-end finance operations, manage banking relationships, channel financing, working capital optimisation, and ensure statutory compliance.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- 15+ years of

- MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution and/or CA/CFA qualification

- Demonstrated expertise in financial modelling, valuation, due diligence, and business structuring

- High emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity to work effectively within a traditional, family-run business environment with a long-tenured senior leadership team (most aged 50+ with 25+ years tenure)

- Comfort with a hands-on, high-ownership working style and a 6-day work week
