Responsibilities : - Develop finance organizational strategies by contributing financial and accounting information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction; establishing functional objectives in line with organizational Objectives : - Responsible for all financial aspects of business management, full P&amp;L, and WC - Overseeing operations / manufacturing finance, incl. productivity and capital management - Budgeting, forecasting and strategic plan development including an effective tax strategy - Defining and implementing cross-functional process improvements - Leading company-wide financial processes in quarterly, annual and long-range planning and reporting - Develops and analyses metrics that showcase the company performance - Works with multiple departments, such as accounting, human resources, treasury, tax, and legal departments - Measurement of plant and customer profitability - Examines employee benefits packages and looks for cost-effective benefits solutions - Implement of various SAP projects - Budgeting and forecasting, financial analysis and modeling across multiple business units / divisions - Constantly working with management to identify areas for cost and expense reduction. i. Labour tracking and reporting to increase accountability and improve efficiency ii. Project start-up and close-out meetings to keep cost reduction top-of-mind iii. Analysis and refinement of core business models and value propositions iv. Re-negotiate with suppliers and plan annual competitive bidding v. Re-evaluating overhead structure vi. Identify areas of cost and/or expense to outsource vii. Establish department teams charged with specific cost reduction goals viii. Process improvement initiatives - Budgeting &amp; MIS i. Formulating annual budgets and conducting variance analysis to determine the difference between projected &amp; actual results and implementing corrective actions. ii. MIS reports, cash &amp; fund flow statement and financial reports to keep track of performance. iii. Preparing various reports monthly, quarterly and yearly as per statutory compliance for internal and external audits and filing of returns iv. Conducting a performance review on MIS reports and giving data feedback to the Management. Desired Qualifications and Experience: - Education : CA or MBA from Tier 1 University - Previous work experience in the Manufacturing sector (Automotive would be ideal) - Must have worked in a multi-plant set up - Have had a senior role, or leadership position in a rapidly scaling business - managing large teams - Highly organized with great attention to detail - Self-Starter who is willing to get his hands dirty to achieve the company'svision - Preferred background in corporate finance and strategic planning
