We are reaching out regarding a senior leadership opportunity with one of our clients a pioneering company in the agri-warehousing sector. The organization plays a critical role in reducing post-harvest losses and strengthening Indias food security through scientific, tech enabled warehouse management systems across its growing network of state-of-the-art agri warehouses.
With the company at a pivotal inflexion point, poised for its next phase of rapid growth, we are looking to connect with seasoned finance professionals for the role of CFO:

Location : Chandigarh
Role Summary:
- The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will lead the financial operations of the company and play a critical role in driving sustainable growth.
- As a key member of the leadership team, the CFO will be responsible for shaping financial strategy, ensuring robust controls and compliance, leading debt fund-raising initiatives, and enabling data-driven decision-making through financial insights and analytics.
- The ideal candidate will bring strong financial acumen, leadership maturity, and deep experience in managing finance in a fast-growing, capital-intensive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Leadership:
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and management team on financial and business matters.
- Lead budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and scenario analysis in alignment with growth objectives.
- Design financial strategies to enhance profitability, improve capital efficiency, and support expansion plans.
Accounting, Controls & Compliance:
- Oversee the finance and accounting functions ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, Ind-AS and other applicable standards.
- Strengthen internal controls, ERP systems, and financial governance frameworks.
- Manage relationships with statutory and internal auditors, regulators, and tax authorities.
MIS & Business Analytics:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive MIS, dashboards, and analytical tools for performance monitoring.
- Enable business units with timely insights to drive data-backed decision-making.
- Track and report on key KPIs and variance analysis to support operational reviews.
Debt Fund Raising & Capital Structuring:
- Lead fundraising from banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions to meet business needs.
- Optimize working capital management, treasury operations, and cash flow forecasting.
- Review capital structure periodically and implement strategies to minimize cost of funds.
Stakeholder Management & Strategic Projects:
- Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential investors, lenders, and financial partners.
- Support due diligence, valuations, and financial modelling for potential PE investment or IPO preparedness (experience preferred but not mandatory).
- Partner with business leaders on M&A, capex evaluation, and operational expansion projects.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: CA and/or MBA in Finance from a reputed institution.
- Experience: 15-20 years of experience in finance leadership roles, preferably in logistics, infrastructure, or capital-intensive businesses.
- Proven experience in core accounting, MIS and analytics, and debt fund raising is essential.
- Experience with PE funding or IPO readiness will be an added advantage.
- Hands-on, detail-oriented leader with the ability to operate both strategically and tactically.
