Chief Financial Officer - Agri/Consumer Commodities

Location: Africa (Multi-country)

Reports to: CEO & dotted line to the Board (independently)

Role Overview

Drive financial strategy, governance, and capital efficiency for a multi-country FMCG/commodities business. Enable growth while ensuring strong financial discipline and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management

- Drive cost optimization, working capital efficiency, and margin improvement

- Ensure compliance across multiple jurisdictions and regulatory environments

- Manage treasury, funding, and investor relationships

- Build robust financial controls, reporting systems, and audit frameworks

- Partner with business leaders on strategic decisions and investments

Ideal Profile

- 15+ years in finance and 7+ in leadership roles within FMCG/commodities

- Strong experience in Africa or emerging markets

- Expertise in multi-country financial operations and regulatory environments

- Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management
