Chief Financial Officer

Role Overview:

A fast-growing visual effects studio is hiring a Chief Financial Officer to lead its complete finance charter including strategy, governance, investor relations, fundraising, IPO readiness, M&A, multi-entity operations, and international expansion.

The role demands a sharp, structured, and hands-on finance leader who can partner closely with the CEO and promoters.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive financial strategy, capital allocation, profitability, and governance.

- Lead fundraising (equity/debt), investor relations, financial modelling, and diligence.

- Own IPO readiness including audit discipline, internal controls, governance frameworks, disclosures, and coordination with bankers and advisors.

- Lead M&A evaluation, deal structuring, negotiation, and post-acquisition integration.

- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, MIS, project profitability, and dashboards.

- Manage cash flow, treasury, working capital, banking, and fund utilization controls.

- Ensure compliance across GST, TDS, Companies Act, FEMA, RBI, and cross-border tax matters.

- Partner with production, creative, HR, and operations on pricing, costing, contracts, and commercial decisions.

- Manage multi-entity finance across India and global subsidiaries.

Ideal Profile:

- Age below 45 years.

- Mandatory: Experience in IPO listing, investor presentations, IPO readiness, governance frameworks.

- 18-25 years of experience in finance, taxation, audit, compliance, treasury, fundraising, M&A, and leadership roles.

- Prior experience as CFO / Head of Finance / Finance Controller in a mid-to-large organization.

- Open to any industry; media/VFX/tech/project-based exposure is an advantage.

- Strong command over ERP, dashboards, automation-led finance processes.
