Chief Financial Officer

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead all finance and accounting activities for the project and later for the operating business.

- Evaluate project feasibility, viability, and capital structure.

- Drive fund raising through debt, equity, or a mix, based on the best available option.

- Manage project financial monitoring, cost control, and profitability planning.

- Support investor reporting, governance, and capital management.

- Build and lead the finance and accounts team.

- Work closely with promoters, lenders, investors, and other external stakeholders.

- Ensure financial discipline through construction, stabilization, and operational phases.

- Contribute to long-term asset value enhancement and business growth.

Desired Profile :

- 15-20 years of overall experience.

- At least 10 years in real estate and hospitality.

- Experience in raising significant debt/equity funding for hotel-mixed-use or similar projects.

- Exposure to project finance, construction finance, rental discounting, and structured funding.

- Strong understanding of hospitality economics, yield, operator P&L, and real estate value creation.

- Experience in leading a business from greenfield stage to stabilization.

- Credibility with banks, PE funds, family offices, and lenders.

- Strong leadership, analytical, commercial, and communication skills.

- High integrity, professionalism, and an ownership mindset.

- Qualification preference : CA, CPA, CMA, or MBA in Finance.

Preferred Experience :

- Successfully raised funding of around INR 500 crore or similar scale.

- Handled a hotel-plus-branded-residences or mixed-use project.

- Experience with asset development, PE exits, or long-term investor structuring.

- Direct relationships with lenders such as SBI, HDFC, ICICI, or similar institutions.

- Comfort handling legal-commercial aspects of technical services and management contracts.
