Role Overview :
As the Chief Financial Officer, you will serve as the primary architect of the firms financial health and strategic direction. You will work closely with the board of directors and executive leadership to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights.
This role demands a hands-on leader who can navigate the intricacies of capital markets and regulatory compliance while fostering strong relationships with investors and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities :
- Drive financial strategy, fund raising, investor relations, governance, and business scaling initiatives.
- Oversee comprehensive financial planning and analysis to guide executive decision-making and ensure alignment with organizational growth targets.
- Direct all aspects of corporate finance, including treasury management, liquidity planning, and capital structure optimization to support business expansion.
- Manage end-to-end financial reporting and audit processes to ensure absolute transparency and adherence to global accounting standards.
- Lead strategic planning initiatives, including M&A activities and financial modeling, to identify and capitalize on new market opportunities.
- Implement rigorous risk management and compliance protocols to safeguard the firms assets and ensure regulatory adherence across all jurisdictions.
- Cultivate and maintain transparent relationships with investors, providing clear communication regarding financial performance and strategic milestones.
- Supervise taxation strategies to optimize the firms tax position while ensuring full compliance with local and international tax laws.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex financial ecosystems with 12 to 18 years of progressive experience in senior finance leadership roles.
- Proven ability to build and lead high-performing finance teams, fostering a culture of accountability and analytical rigor.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial narratives to board members, investors, and non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong educational background, preferably a Chartered Accountant (CA) or an CFA from a premier business school, reflecting a deep understanding of financial theory and practice.
- Highly adaptable to the dynamic, fast-paced environment of a Bangalore-based advisory firm, with the ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and data-driven decision-making, utilizing modern financial tools to drive business intelligence.
