Our client, a high-growth, investor-backed platform operating at the intersection of commerce, supply chain, and technology. The business is in an active scale phase, with a clear focus on strengthening financial discipline, deepening capital market engagement, and preparing for institutional and potential public market participation.

This is a critical leadership role, working closely with the CEO and Board to shape the company's next phase of growth, with direct ownership of capital strategy, financial architecture, and long-term value creation.

Role Overview:

The CFO will act as a strategic partner to the leadership team, responsible for aligning business growth with financial discipline. The role requires a balance of capital markets orientation and hands-on operating depth, particularly in managing complex, scale-stage business models.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Capital Allocation:

- Define and drive long-term financial strategy, including capital allocation and profitability roadmap

- Establish clear frameworks for balancing growth with capital efficiency

Fundraising & Investor Engagement:

- Lead fundraising initiatives across equity, debt, and structured instruments

- Build and manage relationships with institutional investors, PE/VC funds, and strategic stakeholders

- Own the investor narrative, ensuring alignment between business performance and market positioning

IPO Readiness & Governance:

- Build readiness for public markets, including governance, reporting standards, and compliance frameworks

- Strengthen financial controls and ensure audit-ready systems and processes

Business Partnership & Unit Economics:

- Partner with business leaders to drive clarity on unit economics, margins, and scalability

- Improve visibility and discipline across revenue quality, cost structures, and contribution margins

Working Capital & Cash Flow Management

- Drive cash flow discipline, optimize working capital cycles, and improve capital efficiency

- Ensure strong liquidity planning and financial resilience

Global Expansion & Structuring:

- Lead finance for international expansion, including cross-border structuring and regulatory alignment

- Evaluate capital deployment across markets with a risk-aware approach

Finance Function Build-Out:

- Build and scale a high-quality finance organization with strong leadership depth

- Strengthen systems, MIS, analytics, and automation to support scale

Candidate Profile:

- 18-25 years of experience with significant time in leadership roles (CFO / Finance Head)

- Experience in VC or PE-backed, high-growth environments

- Proven track record in fundraising and investor relationship management

- Exposure to IPO readiness or participation in public market processes

- Strong understanding of business models with operational complexity (commerce, marketplace, supply chain, or similar)

- Demonstrated ability to manage working capital, cash flow, and capital allocation decisions

- Experience in building scalable finance teams, systems, and governance frameworks

- Comfort operating in fast-scaling, evolving environments with imperfect data
