Chief Financial Officer

- We are looking for a seasoned Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to act as a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team, driving financial excellence, governance, and long-term value creation.

- This role requires deep expertise in luxury retail, jewellery, or high-value inventory-led businesses, with a strong understanding of financial strategy, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Financial Leadership:

- Partner with the CEO and leadership team to define and drive the overall financial strategy and business growth roadmap.

- Provide strategic insights to support business expansion, profitability, and long-term value creation.

Financial Planning & Analysis

- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.

- Monitor key financial metrics and provide actionable insights to improve business performance.

Retail & Business Finance:

- Drive financial governance across multi-store retail operations and omnichannel business models.

- Analyze store-level economics, inventory cycles, and working capital efficiency.

- Ensure optimal management of high-value inventory and assets, particularly in jewellery or luxury retail environments.

Fundraising & Investor Management:

- Lead fundraising initiatives, investor relations, and financial structuring.

- Support due diligence, valuation, and stakeholder communication during investment or expansion phases.

Compliance & Governance:

- Ensure adherence to all regulatory, statutory, and compliance frameworks, especially those relevant to the jewellery and retail industry.

- Strengthen internal controls, audit processes, and financial governance mechanisms.

Risk Management:

- Identify financial risks and implement strategies for risk mitigation and business continuity.

- Ensure robust controls around inventory, assets, and financial reporting.

Team Leadership:

- Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with business objectives.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 10-15 years of experience in finance leadership roles.

- Strong experience in luxury retail, jewellery, or high-value inventory-driven businesses.

- Deep understanding of retail finance metrics, store economics, and omnichannel models.

- Proven expertise in financial strategy, fundraising, and compliance.

- Strong knowledge of financial governance, audit, and regulatory frameworks.

- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
