Job Description: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Department: Finance

Reporting to: Founder & CMD and Board of Directors
Educational Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA), from a reputed institution.
Industry: Data Center, Cloud, Managed Services, and Security
Team Management: A team of 30, including billing and collections.
Direct Reports: Finance, Accounts, Legal, Procurement
Position Overview
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a pivotal member of the executive leadership team, responsible for shaping and executing the financial strategy of the organization. The CFO will guide the company through its growth journey, including achieving financial milestones, optimizing EBITDA, and ensuring compliance with governance and regulatory standards. With the company preparing for an IPO, the ideal candidate will have substantial experience in IPO preparation, execution, and subsequent public market operations. This role also emphasizes innovation in financial processes, leveraging AI, automation, and advanced analytics for operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement the organizations financial strategy to align with business goals.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO, Board of Directors, and executive team.
- Drive financial innovation, including adopting AI-based tools to automate financial processes and improve forecasting accuracy.
- Lead financial due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships, especially in AI and related sectors.
- Oversee all financial aspects of IPO preparation, from regulatory compliance to investor presentations and market readiness.
Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to drive cross-sell, up-sell, and partner ecosystem growth.
- Ensure data-driven decision-making by leveraging advanced analytics and system-driven tools like Swayataa 4.0.
Governance & Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to corporate governance standards and regulatory requirements in all financial activities.
- Oversee risk management, internal audits, and controls to safeguard the organizations assets.
- Manage data sovereignty and cybersecurity aspects related to financial operations.
Operational Excellence:
- Optimize cash flow, working capital, and capital structure to support business growth.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for financial and operational efficiency.
- Drive cost management initiatives while maintaining a culture of high accountability and integrity.
Team Leadership:
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team.
- Foster collaboration with other departments to enhance organizational performance.
- Promote a performance-driven culture by aligning team goals with the organizations corporate objectives.
Experience
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably in the data center, cloud, managed services, or security industries.
- Proven track record of scaling businesses, achieving financial targets, and driving operational efficiency.
- Experience in managing large-scale financial operations and teams.
- Direct involvement in preparing and executing IPOs, including working with regulatory authorities, investors, and market intermediaries.
