About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and dynamic finance leader to join our executive team. As the Head of Finance, you will be the key custodian of the companys financial health, responsible for providing strategic direction to support aggressive growth and profitability targets. You will play a pivotal role in steering the group toward its IPO roadmap while ensuring operational excellence across all manufacturing units. This role requires a hands-on leader who can partner with the CEO and the Board to drive value creation, capital structuring, and financial discipline.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Planning

- Provide strategic financial direction to support the companys growth and profitability goals.

- Align financial planning with the corporate vision and future IPO roadmap.

- Partner with the CEO and Board on key financial decisions, mergers & acquisitions, and capital structuring.

Financial Management & Operations

- Oversee all accounting, taxation, banking, audit, and finance functions across group companies.

- Drive standardization and automation of financial processes across all multi-unit operations.

- Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of books in a timely, accurate, and compliant manner.

Budgeting & Cost Control

- Lead the preparation of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial plans.

- Monitor budget variances, analyze financial performance, and initiate corrective actions.

- Drive cost optimization initiatives, production costing accuracy, and working capital efficiency across the group.

Compliance & Controls

- Ensure full compliance with all statutory requirements (Direct/Indirect Taxes, Companies Act, etc.).

- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure smooth and timely audit completion.

- Implement and monitor robust internal financial controls to mitigate business risk.

Banking & Treasury

- Oversee group banking operations including cash flow management, fund management, and working capital optimization.

- Manage and strengthen relationships with banks and financial institutions for funding and treasury operations.

- Explore and structure financing options for capital expenditure (capex) and expansion projects.

Investor Relations & IPO Readiness

- Develop investor communication frameworks and reporting mechanisms.

- Prepare investor decks, due diligence documentation, and periodic Management Information Systems (MIS).

- Lead the financial structuring, documentation, and compliance required for IPO readiness.

Team Development

- Drive a performance-oriented culture within the finance team.

- Mentor and develop financial talent to build a robust succession pipeline within the organization.

Qualifications and Skills

- Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) / Cost Accountant (CMA) / ICMA Qualified. An MBA (Finance) or Postgraduate degree is highly preferred.

- Experience: 15 to 20 years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles.

- Industry Preference: Experience in the manufacturing/textile industry is mandatory. Experience managing multi-unit operations is a significant advantage.

- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of multi-unit business finance, production costing, transfer pricing, internal controls, and working capital management.

- Core Skills: High proficiency in financial modeling, ERP systems, and advanced MS Excel.

- Behavioral: Strategic thinker with strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
