Core Responsibilities:

Strategic & Leadership:

- Develop and implement the financial strategy aligned with the company's vision, growth plans, and industry dynamics.

- Serve as a key member of the leadership team, providing financial perspectives in strategic decisions, M&A, JV, and expansion initiatives.

- Lead financial governance, corporate reporting, and shareholder relations with transparency and credibility.

- Drive business performance through strong financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes."

Financial Management & Control:

- Oversee accounting, consolidation, and statutory financial reporting in compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind-AS), IFRS, and applicable laws.

- Ensure timely closure of books, audit coordination, and accurate MIS reporting for management and investors.

- Establish robust internal controls, processes, and policies for cost efficiency, working capital, and risk mitigation.

- Manage taxation (direct & indirect), transfer pricing, and regulatory compliances relevant to crane manufacturing and trading operations."

Business Finance & Operations:

- Partner with operations, projects, logistics, and service teams to provide financial insights on margins, project profitability, and cost optimization.

- Monitor project financials including crane erection, commissioning, and long-term service contracts.

- Evaluate CAPEX, OPEX, and investment decisions to ensure optimal returns and business sustainability.

- Drive cost control measures across manufacturing, procurement, and logistics."

Treasury & Risk Management:

- Manage cash flow, liquidity, and treasury functions including fund-raising, debt management, and banking relations.

- Develop strategies for hedging foreign exchange risk (imports of crane components, exports, etc.).

- Ensure adequate insurance coverage for cranes, equipment, employees, and project sites.

- Mitigate financial, operational, and compliance risks across geographies."

Fund Raising, Investor Relations & Capital Markets:

- Drive fund-raising through equity, debt, PE/VC, and strategic investors while optimizing capital structure.

- Build strong relationships with investors, bankers, analysts, and rating agencies.

- Lead IPO readiness and execution including governance, compliance, and stakeholder coordination.

- Oversee prospectus, investor communications, roadshows, and regulatory filings ensuring transparent disclosures."

People & Leadership:

- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team to build a high-performance culture.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with business leaders to drive financial discipline and accountability.

- Build a finance organization capable of supporting digital transformation and automation (ERP, SAP, or other systems)."
