- Evaluate fund structures, capital inflows, and tax and compliance requirements across jurisdictions, including India, the US, and Mauritius.

- Ensure cash adequacy, capital calls, and treasury operations.

- Drive the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for funds and operating entities across

- Act as Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) for driving a culture of compliance and governance in daily operations.

- Serve as the relationship SPOC for LPs, bankers, Big Four firms, legal/tax advisors, and service providers in India, the US, and Mauritius.

Portfolio Operations:

- Own the post-term sheet investment process: lead legal and financial due diligence, manage transaction closure with speed and accuracy.

- Maintain a pulse on portfolio companies and monitor progress regularly; partner with GPs on financial performance, growth outlook, and business milestones.

- Support founders on capital structure, venture debt, resourcing, flips/reverse flips, and other strategic finance topics.

- Build and nurture a finance community across portfolio companies, offering guidance and peer mentoring for finance leaders.

- Collaborate with GPs on exit strategy and secondary liquidity opportunities.

Leadership, Direction & Influence:

- Lead with clarity-setting direction and standards for the broader finance function.

- Mentor and empower a high-performing finance team across fund and portfolio operations.

- Bring a firm-wide lens to key decisions, collaborating across investments, legal, and ops.

- Contribute to long-range planning, new initiatives, and firm-wide scale efforts.

What You Bring:

- 15+ years of progressive experience in finance, preferably within VC/PE firms, family offices, or investment platforms.

- Proven expertise in fund structuring, regulatory compliance (across India, US, and Mauritius), investor reporting, and capital flows.

- Strong track record of interfacing with Limited Partners, regulators, auditors, legal/tax advisors, and financial institutions.

- Strategic, commercially-minded approach with the ability to zoom in on detail when required, without being operational.

- High emotional intelligence and strong leadership presence-able to influence cross-functional teams in a lean, senior environment.

- Chartered Accountant or MBA (preferred); exposure to regulated finance environments and cross-border structures is a strong plus
