Role Overview:
A leading listed, global engineering-led organization is seeking an accomplished Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to drive financial strategy, governance, and long-term value creation. The role is a key leadership position, working closely with the Managing Director, Board of Directors, Audit Committee, and investors, supporting ambitious growth plans across domestic and international markets, including organic growth, capital raising, and M&A initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute the organization's overall financial strategy, aligned with growth, global expansion, and inorganic initiatives.
- Act as a strategic advisor to the MD and Board, providing insights on financial performance, capital allocation, risk management, and long-term planning.
- Oversee end-to-end finance functions including FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, working capital, treasury, and cash flow optimization.
- Ensure strong corporate governance and compliance with SEBI, Companies Act, FEMA, RBI, and other applicable regulations in a listed-company environment.
- Lead investor relations, including analyst interactions, earnings calls, investor presentations, and ongoing stakeholder communication.
- Manage relationships with bankers, institutional investors, auditors, rating agencies, and regulatory authorities.
- Drive capital raising initiatives (equity/debt), optimize capital structure, and support funding requirements.
- Lead financial due diligence, valuation, negotiations, and integration for mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investments.
- Oversee finance operations of subsidiaries and overseas entities, ensuring consistency in reporting and compliance.
- Strengthen internal controls, audit processes, and enterprise risk management frameworks; report key risks to the Audit Committee.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering operational excellence and leadership depth.
Candidate Profile:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 15-20 years of post-qualification experience.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in a listed company, with strong exposure to Board reporting, audits, and regulatory compliance.
- Deep hands-on expertise in FEMA, cross-border transactions, overseas subsidiaries, and statutory reporting.
- Proven experience in investor relations and senior-level stakeholder engagement.
- Background in manufacturing / engineering / project-driven organizations preferred.
- Strong exposure to capital markets, fundraising, and M&A is highly desirable.
