Chief Financial Officer

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the finance function of a soon-to-be demerged trading entity with a revenue base of approximately - 3,000 crore.

This is a key leadership role reporting directly to the Founder/Managing Director, with a mandate to drive financial efficiency, discipline, and strategic support in a high-growth, promoter-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and oversee the finance, accounts, and compliance functions of the organisation

- Manage treasury operations, including banking relationships and working capital management

- Ensure robust financial controllership, budgeting, cost controls, and financial reporting

- Oversee investor relations (IR) and communication in a listed company setup

- Build and mentor a finance team of ~20 professionals

- Partner with business leadership to support strategic initiatives and profitable growth

- Ensure adherence to corporate governance and statutory compliance norms

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 10-15 years of post-qualification experience

- Prior experience in a listed company with exposure to Investor Relations (IR) is preferred

- Demonstrated expertise in treasury, banking, and controllership

- Proven track record of working with promoter-driven organisations

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to scale operations and teams

- Entrepreneurial mindset - aspirational, proactive, and growth-oriented

- Open to a 6-day working week and full-time office presence
