Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Reporting To: Managing Director / CEO
Experience: 15+ years (with proven experience in large-scale fund raising and project financing)
Role Overview:
We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial strategy of our organization, with a strong focus on fundraising, project financing, expansions, and treasury management. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned finance leader with a successful track record of raising significant capital from financial institutions, managing investor relationships, and driving financial discipline across fast-growing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Fundraising & Project Financing:
- Lead debt and equity fundraising initiatives to support business growth and expansion plans.
- Manage end-to-end project financing, including structuring, negotiations, and documentation.
- Build strong relationships with banks, NBFCs, private equity, and other financial institutions.
- Evaluate and manage term loans, working capital, mezzanine, and structured finance options.
Treasury & Liquidity Management:
- Oversee cash flow planning, forecasting, and ensure optimal utilization of funds.
- Develop and implement robust treasury policies, hedging strategies, and working capital controls.
Strategic Expansion Support:
- Support the CEO and Board on financial strategy for new ventures, capex planning, and M&A initiatives.
- Build financial models and investment decks to evaluate business expansion opportunities.
Financial Planning & Compliance:
- Ensure timely and accurate MIS reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Oversee financial controls, audits, statutory compliances, and regulatory reporting.
Stakeholder Management:
- Act as a key liaison with investors, lenders, credit rating agencies, and regulatory bodies.
- Present financial updates to the Board and drive transparency and governance.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA (Finance), or CFA preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of experience with a strong background in fundraising and project financing.
- Demonstrated success in raising - 500 Cr+ or equivalent from banks, institutions, or capital markets.
- Experience in capital-intensive or asset-heavy sectors such as manufacturing, infrastructure, or energy is preferred.
- Strong negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability.
