The Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will be a core member of the executive leadership team responsible for directing the companys financial planning and strategy. You will manage the organizations financial operations, including budgeting, reporting, fundraising, risk management, investor relations, and compliance. You will play a key role in advising the CEO and Board on financial decision-making and ensuring the companys financial health, stability, and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership
- Develop and execute long-term financial strategies in alignment with overall corporate goals.
- Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis to support strategic planning.
- Partner with the CEO and Board to advise on strategic initiatives, M&A opportunities, and market expansion.
Project Finance & Fundraising
- Lead end-to-end project finance and funding activities, including debt syndication, equity raising, and structured financing.
- Build and maintain relationships with banks, financial institutions, and investors to secure funding under favorable terms.
Financial Operations
- Oversee the accounting, treasury, tax, and internal audit functions to ensure operational efficiency.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and investment performance to ensure financial health and stability.
- Lead the digitization and automation of finance processes for improved accuracy and control.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with statutory regulations, financial laws, and corporate governance standards.
- Supervise accurate and timely financial reporting as per Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) or IFRS.
- Interface with regulatory bodies, external auditors, and legal counsel as required.
Risk Management
- Develop and implement robust risk management frameworks to minimize financial, operational, and compliance risks.
- Lead enterprise-wide risk assessments and establish financial controls to safeguard assets.
Stakeholder & Investor Relations
- Maintain transparent and strategic communication with investors, board members, auditors, and financial analysts.
- Represent the company in key investor meetings, roadshows, and due diligence processes.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- MBA/PGDM in Finance from a reputed institution or a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
- Minimum 15 years of experience in corporate finance, including leadership roles in mid to large-sized enterprises.
- Demonstrated experience in project finance, debt syndication, structured finance, and capital markets.
- Strong command over financial modeling, valuation, and cash flow management.
- Deep understanding of financial regulations, compliance standards, and governance frameworks.
