Role Overview :

- Our client, a leading Hospitality and Construction company, is seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to drive financial excellence, optimize business performance, and prepare the organization for a potential IPO in the coming years.

- This role will be instrumental in shaping the financial future of the company, ensuring robust financial governance, and spearheading key strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategic Financial Leadership:

- Develop and implement the company's financial strategy, aligning with overall business objectives.

- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to drive sustainable growth.

- Provide financial insights and recommendations to the Chairman and Board to support strategic decision-making.

- Evaluate investment opportunities, mergers, acquisitions, and capital allocation strategies.

- Financial Governance & Risk Management:

- Establish and enforce a strong financial governance framework.

- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, statutory, and tax obligations, including SEBI, ROC, and other relevant bodies.

- Identify and mitigate financial risks, implementing robust internal controls and audit mechanisms.

- Drive corporate governance initiatives in preparation for IPO readiness.

Capital Structuring & Future Readiness:

- Lead the company's financial transformation for expansion readiness, including working with investment banks, legal teams, and advisors.

- Oversee the preparation of financial statements and disclosures in compliance with listing regulations.

- Manage investor relations, equity structuring, and capital raising activities.

- Optimize the company's capital structure and explore funding opportunities for expansion.

Operational & Financial Excellence:

- Ensure optimal cash flow management and working capital efficiency.

- Enhance financial reporting, analytics, and performance tracking to drive business efficiencies.

- Leverage technology and financial systems to improve automation and decision-making capabilities.

- Drive cost optimization initiatives while maintaining service and operational excellence.

Leadership & People Management :

- Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of financial discipline and strategic thinking.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, and legal, to achieve business objectives.

- Represent the company in key financial negotiations, external audits, and investor discussions.

Key Competencies & Skills:

- Strong leadership and strategic vision with a deep understanding of the hospitality and construction sectors.

- Expertise in financial planning, capital markets, fundraising, and IPO processes.

- In-depth knowledge of Indian GAAP, IFRS, SEBI regulations, and taxation laws.

- Proven ability to work with private equity investors, auditors, and regulatory bodies.

- Experience in mergers & acquisitions, business restructuring, and financial risk management.

- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills for board-level interactions.

- High integrity, transparency, and ethical financial stewardship.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Chartered Accountant (CA).

- 12-15+ years of experience in financial leadership roles, preferably in Hospitality, Construction, or Real Estate industries.

- Proven track record in preparing companies for IPO and managing large-scale financial operations.

- Experience in handling multi-entity, multi-location financial structures.
