1. ABOUT CONDIVIO:
Condivio is a tech-enabled student accommodation platform positioned to consolidate India's fragmented student housing market. The platform operates a marketplace connecting students, property owners, and institutional partners through a comprehensive digital ecosystem.
Vision: To become the leading student accommodation aggregator across India and Europe, delivering quality, affordable living spaces to students while generating institutional-grade returns for property partners.
2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
A. Strategic Leadership & Business Vision:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 5-year business strategy to establish Condivio as the market leader in organized student accommodation across India
- Define market entry, competitive positioning, and differentiation strategy against incumbent players
- Chart the European expansion roadmap with detailed go-to-market strategy for Switzerland and Italy
- Articulate and embed Condivio's mission and values across all organizational layers
B. Revenue Growth & Market Acquisition:
- Drive revenue through a multi-channel monetization model (commission-based, premium subscriptions, ancillary services)
- Establish aggressive but achievable growth targets for property inventory and student base
- Build and scale the property acquisition and broker acquisition playbook to convert market share from competitors
- Develop institutional partnerships with universities and corporate housing partners
C. Organizational Build & Talent Strategy:
- Architect a high-performance organizational structure with clear P&L accountability across regions and zones
- Actively recruit talent from competitors at mid-to-senior levels, particularly in property acquisition, operations, and customer success
- Build a retention and incentive culture aligned with meaningful equity participation
- Establish KPIs, OKRs, and performance management frameworks across the organization
D. Operational Excellence & Scalability:
- Define operational standards, processes, and playbooks across property onboarding, broker management, and customer success
- Build and maintain data-driven dashboards tracking property inventory, occupancy, customer acquisition, retention, and conversion metrics
- Ensure technology infrastructure and product features evolve to support scalable growth
- Implement quality assurance and compliance frameworks for regulatory and operational risks
E. Financial Management & Capital Allocation:
- Own P&L accountability and deliver disciplined unit economics
- Manage capital allocation between organic growth, technology investment, and competitive activities
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators for customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value
- Present quarterly business performance and strategic recommendations to the Board
- Identify and secure follow-on institutional capital to fund expansion
F. Stakeholder & Partnership Management:
- Build relationships with university administrations, corporate housing partners, developers, and institutional landlords
- Serve as the primary external face of Condivio with media, investors, and strategic partners
- Build brand equity and thought leadership in the proptech and student accommodation space
3. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
A. Mandatory Experience:
- 8+ years of experience building or scaling B2C/B2B2C platforms, preferably in proptech, real estate, or logistics/marketplace sectors
- Founder-level or C-suite experience (CEO, COO, or equivalent) at a scaling startup with demonstrated ability to drive significant growth
Proven track record in one or more of:
- Student accommodation, PG housing, or co-living platforms
- PropTech platforms
- Logistics or delivery-style marketplaces
- SaaS or B2B platforms in emerging markets
- Demonstrated ability to recruit and scale talent across geographies, with experience managing teams of significant size
- Capital raising experience: Successfully raised institutional funding and demonstrated familiarity with cap table management and board governance
B. Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in emerging European markets or similar geographic expansion playbooks
- Background in higher education, student services, or institutional partnerships
- Proficiency with data analytics, unit economics, and financial modeling
- MBA or advanced degree from a reputed institution
- Entrepreneurial success: Previous startup exit or sustained revenue/profit generation
