We are looking for the CEO wherein the ideal candidate has led complex, multi-stakeholder projects, worked with large P&L and driven business expansion in competitive markets.
Education: Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Business or related field (preferable) along with MBA or equivalent. (Exception can be made in very good and relevant profiles)
Experience:
- 15-20 years of total experience in real estate & construction. (Flexible in exceptional cases)
- 7-10+ years in a senior leadership role (COO, CEO, Business Head, Regional Head).
- P&L responsibility of - 500-1500 Cr+
- Experience leading large-scale residential and commercial developments.
- Deeply involved in - Land acquisition, Project development & planning, Construction execution, Sales & marketing strategy, Fundraising, Regulatory & RERA compliance, Vendor & contractor ecosystem. (All is preferable only)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership & Vision:
- Define and communicate a compelling long-term vision and growth roadmap.
- Develop and implement 3-5-year strategic business plans aligned with market dynamics.
- Lead the senior leadership team (development, sales, finance, operations) and build a culture of high performance.
2. P&L & Financial Stewardship:
- Own full P&L responsibility: revenue generation, cost management, profitability.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, capital allocation, and cash flow management.
- Drive fundraising (debt, equity), maintain investor relations, and negotiate JV / partnership terms.
3. Business Development & Partnerships:
- Source and structure new land acquisitions, joint-ventures (JVs), joint development agreements (JDAs) and M&A.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with institutional investors, banks, PE firms and other capital providers.
- Lead sales, marketing and GTM strategies to scale existing business lines and enter new geographies or asset classes.
4. Project Development & Execution :
- Oversee land development, design, construction, delivery, and quality control.
- Ensure efficient operations, cost controls, and timely execution (on time, on budget).
- Build and implement robust systems and processes (governance, risk management, compliance).
5. Stakeholder Management & External Relations:
- Represent the Company to the board, investors, JV partners, regulators, and government bodies.
- Negotiate and manage key contracts with contractors, architects, vendors, and other partners.
- Engage with real estate associations, industry forums and think tanks.
6. Leadership, Culture & Talent:
- Build and nurture a strong leadership bench: Heads of Development, Projects, Sales, Finance, HR, Legal.
- Promote a performance-driven, ethical and collaborative culture.
- Mentor key talent, drive succession planning and lead performance management.
7. Corporate Governance & Compliance:
- Ensure legal, regulatory and RERA compliance in all projects.
- Establish strong governance frameworks - risk, audit, compliance, ESG.
- Report regularly to the board on business performance, strategy, and risks.
8. Sustainability & CSR:
- Drive sustainable development practices (green construction, energy efficiency).
- Lead CSR initiatives and community engagement, building social value alongside business value.
