Company Overview:

One of our leading clients is in the business of processing Quartz mineral with a setup for one of the world's largest Quartz Grit making plants. The company processes 1 MMTPA of high-grade quartz to produce high-quality Grit and Filler for Engineered Stone/Quartz slab manufacturing. It also produces HPQ and semiconductor grade Silicon for domestic and international markets. The project has uninterrupted access to quartz mineral from the worlds largest single deposit quartz mine and is located in Andhra Pradesh.

Position: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Location: Corporate office at Hyderabad and works in Andhra Pradesh.

Reporting To: Chairman & Managing Director (CMD)

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Role & Responsibilities:

- Must be fully conversant with the entire cycle of Quartz mineral processing or any similar mineral processing from Mines to finished products (making Quartz Lumps, Quartz GRIT, and processing of by-products).

- Thorough understanding of mineral processing projects from raw material handling systems and engineering.

- Work strategically to achieve business targets and maximize production volumes with a focus on Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual targets.

- Effective manpower planning, administration, and induction of sufficient teams to handle O&M.

- Focused on cost minimization and cost control of the plant and materials.

- Formulating budgets for timely procurement of material and other requirements.

- Ensure mineral processing projects and other engineering projects are completed within the scheduled time frame.

- Knowledge of Best Mining Practices to ensure right production while obtaining raw material as per agreements.

- Implementation of Safety norms, Statutory Compliance, and Zero Accident policy.

- Ensure all SOPs are developed, reviewed periodically, and implemented.

- Unlock and utilize the potential of mines by ensuring the commercial viability of existing stocks.

- Establish leading business partners in both Domestic and Global Quartz Markets. Build capabilities to identify, acquire, and explore growth opportunities.

- Management and proper control of both Debtors and Creditors.

- Equipment/Machine-wise fixing of standards for utilization and operational cost.

- M/c standards vs Utilization & Cost and its improvement plans.

- Implement and oversee the long-range Goals, Strategies, Plans, and Policies of the Group/Company, subject to the direction of the Management.

- With the help of support teams, mobilize, enroll, and monitor Contractors/Vendors/Customers to meet business demands. Monitor employee-related issues and their redressal.

- Effective utilization of all resources i.e. Plant & Equipment, Infrastructure & Manpower.

- Machinery availability and consumption data analysis.

- Procurement, Spares consumption, and follow-up.

- Develop and ensure proper MIS on Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly/half-yearly basis.

- Team building and management, excellent management skills with all CFTs and business heads/HODs.

- Any other area/work assigned based on business exigency.

Requirements:

- The incumbent must have experience in the execution of Project cycles (RMHS), mineral Mining, mineral processing O&M, and Business development.

- Overall responsibility for P&L of the SBU in any Mining and Mineral processing company (preferable in Quartz/ Feldspar/ Silica Sand/ Quartzite minerals) or any similar mineral processing.

- Knowing the Telugu language is an added advantage.

- Prospective candidates must be willing for a long-term association and confirm a suitable contract.
