Chief Executive Officer ( Marketing background - B2B )
Position summary:
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will provide visionary leadership to drive the company's growth, profitability, and market position within the industrial products sector. This executive is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive corporate strategy that leverages their deep marketing expertise to capture market share, drive innovation, and build strong relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
Strategic leadership:
- Define and execute the company's long-term strategic plan, aligning vision, mission, and goals with market trends and operational capabilities.
- Market and business development: Lead aggressive growth and expansion initiatives, identifying and pursuing new markets, industry verticals, and partnerships, both domestically and internationally.
Marketing and commercial strategy:
- Oversee all marketing and commercial activities, from market research to sales execution, ensuring they align with business objectives.
- Drive brand positioning, market differentiation, and customer segmentation to optimize value propositions and enhance market share.
- Act as the primary public representative for the company, strengthening brand reputation with clients, partners, and the public.
Operational and financial oversight:
- Oversee the entire business, ensuring operational excellence, effective cost management, and sustainable profitability.
- Manage the company's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation to maximize shareholder value.
Innovation and product development:
- Foster a culture of innovation, ensuring product development and strategy are customer-centric and informed by market insights.
Executive management:
- Build, mentor, and motivate a high-performing executive team, providing clear direction and accountability.
Stakeholder relations:
- Cultivate and manage strong relationships with the Board of Directors, investors, key customers, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications and skills:
- Educational background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Textile Engineering, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Head of Marketing / VP Marketing / CEO, or in a senior leadership role, with strong P&L management responsibilities.
- Extensive experience (20+ years) in Narrow Fabrics, Elastics, or Trims B2B products with a demonstrated background in sales and marketing leadership.
- Proven track record of driving significant business growth, market expansion, and successful product launches.
- Marketing and commercial acumen: Deep understanding of B2B marketing strategies for industrial products, including lead generation, branding, and solution selling.
- Leadership and management: Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire a high-performance culture.
- Strategic and analytical skills: An entrepreneurial, data-driven mindset with strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
The ideal candidate should be a Marketing / Sales head who are handling the above major clients. Not working for these companies but a person who is selling raw materials to these industries for finishing their products.
