Chief Executive Officer - Manufacturing Industry

Job Description:

Role Purpose:

The CEO will be responsible for leading the overall business operations and delivering sustainable growth, profitability, and organizational excellence. The role requires a seasoned business leader with strong P&L management experience, proven leadership capabilities, and the ability to work closely with the Board to drive strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the overall business with full responsibility for P&L, growth, and operational performance.

- Develop and execute long-term business strategies aligned with the organization's vision and growth objectives.

- Provide leadership across key functions including Finance, Sales, Human Resources, Supply Chain, Operations, and Administration.

- Drive business expansion, operational efficiency, and profitability improvement initiatives.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, key customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

- Lead fundraising initiatives, including working capital financing, term loans, and growth capital requirements.

- Establish robust governance frameworks and ensure effective risk management practices.

- Present business performance, strategic plans, and investment proposals to the Board of Directors.

- Drive organizational development, talent management, and leadership succession planning.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and corporate governance requirements.

Skills and Experience:

Candidate Profile:

- 1820 years of professional experience, with significant leadership experience in managing medium-sized businesses.

- Proven track record of full P&L management and delivering business growth.

- Strong experience leading cross-functional teams across Finance, Sales, HR, Supply Chain, and Operations.

- Demonstrated experience in raising funds from banks and financial institutions to support business growth and expansion.

- Experience in strategic planning, business transformation, and stakeholder management.

- Strong exposure to Board-level reporting and corporate governance.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.

- CA and/or MBA from a premier institute is mandatory.

- Experience in Africa or emerging markets will be highly preferred.
