Chief Executive Officer - Logistics & Fleet Management

Job Description:

Role Purpose:

The CEO will be responsible for leading the logistics business with complete ownership of strategy, operations, profitability, and business growth. The role requires a commercially driven leader with strong expertise in fleet management, transportation operations, and organizational leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the overall logistics and fleet management business with full P&L responsibility.

- Develop and execute business strategies to drive growth, profitability, and operational excellence.

- Oversee fleet utilization, transportation operations, maintenance, route optimization, and customer service.

- Drive business development and expand relationships with key customers and strategic partners.

- Ensure effective management of finance, operations, HR, supply chain, and commercial functions.

- Establish performance metrics and drive continuous operational improvements.

- Build strong relationships with financial institutions, regulatory bodies, and key stakeholders.

- Present business performance and strategic plans to the Board of Directors.

- Lead organizational development and build a high-performance leadership team.

Candidate Profile:

- 18-25 years of experience in logistics, transportation, fleet management, or supply chain.

- Proven experience in a CEO, Business Head, Country Head, COO, or General Manager role.

- Strong experience managing large fleet operations and transportation businesses.

- Demonstrated success in P&L management, business expansion, and operational transformation.

- Experience in fundraising, banking relationships, and strategic planning will be an advantage.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- MBA from a premier institute preferred.

- Experience working in Africa or emerging markets is highly desirable.
