Role Overview:
- The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will be responsible for the overall strategic leadership, financial performance, and business growth of the firm. The role requires a strong focus on financial management, revenue growth, and business development, while ensuring operational excellence and strengthening the firm's market positioning.
- The CEO will work closely with partners and senior leadership to expand client relationships, improve profitability, and build sustainable growth for the firm.
1. Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute the firm's long-term growth and expansion strategy.
- Work closely with partners to align the firm's business goals with market opportunities.
- Identify new practice areas, markets, and revenue streams.
- Lead change management initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
2. Financial Management:
- Oversee the financial performance and profitability of the firm.
- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Monitor key financial metrics such as revenue, margins, billing realization, and partner profitability.
- Improve cost management and operational efficiency.
- Ensure strong financial governance, compliance, and reporting systems.
3. Business Development & Growth:
- Drive new client acquisition and revenue growth strategies.
- Build strategic relationships with corporates, financial institutions, and high-value clients.
- Identify and pursue large mandates, retainers, and strategic partnerships.
- Work with partners to strengthen the firm's brand positioning and market presence.
- Lead initiatives for cross-selling services across practice areas.
4. Client Relationship Management:
- Maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure high standards of client service delivery and retention.
- Represent the firm at industry forums, conferences, and business networks.
5. Operational Excellence:
- Improve internal processes, productivity, and performance metrics.
- Introduce systems for practice management, financial tracking, and reporting.
- Oversee technology adoption and operational improvements.
6. Leadership & Team Development:
- Lead and mentor the leadership team across finance, operations, and business development.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and performance.
- Work with partners to strengthen leadership within the firm.
Candidate Profile:
Experience:
- 15-20+ years of leadership experience.
- Experience in professional services, consulting, legal services, accounting firms, or advisory firms preferred.
- Strong track record in business development and financial management.
Education:
- MBA (tier 1)/ CA / Finance background preferred.
- Law degree is advantageous but not mandatory.
