Chief Executive Officer - IIT/NIT/BITS/IIM/XLRI/ISB

Role Purpose :

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will be responsible for providing visionary leadership and driving overall business growth, profitability, operational excellence, and organizational transformation across the Group. The CEO will work closely with the Managing Director and Board to formulate strategic direction and ensure the achievement of long-term business objectives while fostering a high-performance and innovation-driven culture.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategic & Business Leadership :

- Develop and execute the organization's long-term vision, strategy, and annual business plans.

- Drive sustainable growth through expansion, diversification, and operational excellence.

- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, acquisitions, and investments.

Operational Excellence :

- Oversee end-to-end business operations across multiple business verticals.

- Ensure achievement of revenue, profitability, productivity, and customer satisfaction targets.

- Build systems, governance mechanisms, and performance management frameworks.

Financial & Commercial Management :

- Work closely with the CFO to optimize financial performance, improve margins, and ensure prudent capital allocation.

- Drive cost optimization and maximize shareholder value.

Leadership & Talent Development :

- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing executive leadership team.

- Develop succession planning and organizational capability-building initiatives.

- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and ethical conduct.

Governance & Stakeholder Management :

- Act as the key interface between the Board, investors, customers, government agencies, and other external stakeholders.

- Ensure the highest standards of corporate governance and regulatory compliance.

Experience :

- Minimum 20 - 25 years of progressive leadership experience, with at least 10 years in CXO or Business Head roles.

Age : Preferably 55+ years.

Qualification :

- Bachelor's degree in engineering from a premier institution (IITs, NITs, BITS Pilani, or equivalent leading engineering colleges).

- MBA/PGDM from a Tier-1 Business School (IIMs, ISB, XLRI, FMS, SPJIMR, etc.) is highly preferred.

Leadership Exposure :

- Proven experience in leading large organizations with significant P&L responsibility and managing multi-location operations.
