
Role Summary:
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will be responsible for leading the setup, commissioning, stabilization, and scale-up of a greenfield copper Continuous Casting & Rolling (CCR) manufacturing facility. The role requires a highly entrepreneurial and execution-driven leader with strong expertise in manufacturing operations, project execution, commercial management, and strategic growth.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead the execution, commissioning, and operationalization of the greenfield copper CCR project.
- Coordinate with consultants, machinery suppliers, contractors, and key stakeholders to ensure timely project completion.
- Build and develop the organizational structure and leadership team across functions.
- Establish a high-performance, ownership-driven culture and succession planning framework.
- Oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations including melting, refining, rolling, quality control, planning, and dispatch.
- Drive production efficiency, yield optimization, and consistent product quality.
- Implement SOP-driven processes and reduce dependency on manual interventions.
- Develop technology-driven operations through automation, process controls, and digital monitoring systems.
- Lead ERP/MIS implementation to enhance operational visibility and decision-making.
- Manage P&L, budgeting, working capital, cash flow, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Develop procurement strategies for raw materials and consumables to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Support market development and strengthen relationships with key customers and industrial buyers.
- Formulate and execute long-term growth and expansion strategies.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
- Establish and manage international sourcing networks for copper scrap, cathodes, and anodes.
- Negotiate long-term procurement contracts and strategic supplier partnerships.
- Manage risks associated with commodity prices, forex fluctuations, logistics, and supply chain disruptions.
- Monitor global copper market trends and coordinate import logistics, customs clearance, and supply chain operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational excellence, profitability, and scalability.
