Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Location: Mumbai

Reports to: Board of Directors

Role Purpose:

Lead the next phase of growth for a leading Indian manufacturer in the steel and infrastructure materials sector. The CEO will drive strategic expansion, operational excellence, and profitability, ensuring the organization sustains its leadership position in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Formulate and execute long-term business strategy aligned with the Board's vision.

- Deliver sustained revenue, EBITDA, and ROCE improvements across business verticals.

- Oversee manufacturing operations, supply chain efficiency, and capacity expansion initiatives.

- Strengthen corporate governance, investor relations, and financial discipline.

- Lead digital transformation, ESG, and sustainability programs across plants and business functions.

- Build and mentor a strong leadership team and performance-driven culture.

- Represent the company with key customers, regulators, and industry bodies.

Candidate Profile:

- 20+ years of experience in steel, infrastructure materials, or heavy manufacturing sectors, with proven P&L leadership.

- Strong background in operations, financial management, and strategic expansion.

- Demonstrated success in scaling manufacturing capacity and improving profitability.

- Deep understanding of the Indian industrial and export markets.

- Engineering degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.

- High integrity, strategic mindset, and ability to engage effectively with the Board and investors.

Location & Compensation

Base location: Mumbai (candidate should be flexible as per business needs to travel).
