Description: Role Overview The CEO - India will spearhead the strategy, build-out, and commercial expansion of the companys India operations. The initial priority will be leading the successful implementation and scale-up of Indias first fully automated empty container yard at JNPT, followed by broader expansion into domestic supply chain solutions and cross-border eCommerce. This role requires a visionary leader who can operate at board level while driving hands-on execution across a multi-vertical, multi-market environment. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership - Define and execute the India growth strategy aligned with the Groups UAESaudiIndia corridor vision. - Build a diversified portfolio spanning port-side logistics, domestic supply chain, multimodal transport, and export-driven eCommerce. - Identify and execute M&A, JV, and partnership opportunities to accelerate India market penetration. Anchor Project Delivery JNPT Automated Yard - Lead end-to-end implementation of Indias first fully automated empty container yard. - Drive customer acquisition, commercial ramp-up, and operational throughput. - Leverage automation, AI, and analytics to create differentiated service levels. Business Expansion - Scale warehousing, transportation, multimodal, and value-added logistics services across India. - Build India-outbound cross-border eCommerce flows through the Groups global network. - Develop strong relationships with shippers, freight forwarders, platforms, and port authorities. P&L Ownership & Commercial Excellence - Full P&L leadership across all India verticals. - Drive revenue growth, EBITDA delivery, and capital efficiency. - Implement India-specific pricing, product, and service strategies while leveraging global synergies. Leadership & Culture - Build and mentor a high-performing leadership team. - Establish a culture of innovation, performance, and accountability. - Ensure governance, compliance, and reporting standards aligned with global norms. Stakeholder Engagement - Lead engagements with government bodies, port authorities, and strategic partners. - Collaborate with regional/global teams to design integrated, cross-border logistics solutions. Ideal Candidate Profile: - Proven P&L leadership in logistics, supply chain, port-side, or large infrastructure operations in India. - Demonstrated success in greenfield project delivery and business scale-up. - Deep understanding of Indias logistics ecosystem, port operations, and global trade flows. - Strong commercial acumen with entrepreneurial drive. - Ability to lead at both strategic and operational levels. - Exceptional stakeholder, regulatory, and customer relationship management skills. - Track record of building and leading high-performance teams.
