Chief Executive Officer - Construction Industry

We have urgent opening for CEO with a known contracting company in Mumbai for Pan India projects

Role & responsibilities:

To provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to a diversified construction contracting organization. The CEO will be responsible for overall P&L, business growth, operational excellence, and stakeholder management across residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure verticals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Leadership & Strategy :

- Lead end-to-end business operations across multiple verticals: Hospitals, Institutional Buildings, High-rise & Super high-rise, Residential Towers & Townships, Commercial, Drive tendering & business development initiatives to build a robust order book across Government, Semi-Government, PSUs, Public Ltd & Private Organizations, and PMC clientsFormulate and execute long-term growth strategy, market expansion, and diversification plans

2. Project Execution & Operations :

- Oversee execution of all projects within stipulated timelines, optimal cost, highest EHS standards, and uncompromised qualityLead project planning, cost controlling, and project monitoring frameworks to ensure budget adherence and profitabilityInstitutionalize best-in-class construction techniques leveraging 18+ years of grassroot to leadership level, hands-on experience

3. Commercial & Contract Management :

- Lead contract management & administration across complex EPC/LSTK contracts

- Drive claim management and dispute resolution with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to protect company interests

- Maximize resource utilization through strong analytical abilities and operational efficiency

4. People & Culture :

- Build, mentor, and retain high-performance teams across functions and geographies

- Foster a self-starter, detail-oriented culture with focus on accountability and deliveryAct as an effective communicator with excellent interpersonal & relationship management skills across internal teams, clients, JV partners, and regulatory bodies

5. Governance & Compliance :

- Ensure strict adherence to safety, environmental, statutory, and corporate governance norms , Represent the organization at industry forums, government bodies, and with key stakeholders

Required Profile Experience:

- 18+ years in construction contracting with proven track record of rising from Junior Engineer to CEO level. Must be a grassroot-trained professional with deep site & execution knowledge

Domain Expertise:

- Well versed with all types of construction techniques and hands-on delivery of Hospitals, Institutional, High-rise/Super high-rise, Residential, Commercial Pan India

Client Exposure:

- Successfully delivered projects for Government, Semi-Government, PSUs, reputed Public Ltd & Private Organizations, and their PMCs

- Leadership: Strong leadership with adeptness in maximizing resource utilization.

- Demonstrated ability in team building and developing next-level leadershipCompetencies: Strong analytical abilities, self-starter with detail-oriented approach, effective communicator, excellent interpersonal & relationship management skillsE

Education: B.E./B.Tech Civil. MBA/Advanced Management Program preferred
