CEO / Business Head (Rubber Products)

Position Summary:

The CEO / Business Head will be responsible for driving the overall business performance and profitability of the Rubber Products division. The role carries complete Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility and provides strategic leadership across sales, marketing, business development, manufacturing, supply chain, product development, and overall business operations to achieve sustainable growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own and manage the complete P&L of the Rubber Products business.

- Develop and execute the overall business strategy to drive revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion.

- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams across Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, R&D, and Finance.

- Drive new business development by identifying new markets, customers, and strategic partnerships.

- Formulate and implement pricing strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining market competitiveness.

- Oversee manufacturing and plant operations to ensure operational efficiency, productivity, quality, and cost optimization.

- Improve EBITDA through operational excellence, cost control, productivity improvements, and process optimization.

- Strengthen customer relationships and manage key accounts to ensure long-term business growth.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, industry bodies, government authorities, and other key stakeholders.

- Lead new product development initiatives aligned with market requirements and customer needs.

- Ensure compliance with statutory, environmental, safety, and quality standards.

- Monitor business performance through key financial and operational metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidate Profile:

- Any Graduate / MBA from a reputed institution preferred with minimum 15 years of progressive leadership experience in the Rubber, Polymer or Allied Manufacturing Industry.

- Proven track record of managing a complete business with P&L responsibility.

- Strong experience in manufacturing, plant operations, sales, marketing, business development, supply chain, and commercial management.

- Demonstrated ability to drive business growth, profitability, and operational excellence.

- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

Preferred Experience:

- Experience in rubber products manufacturing such as automotive rubber components, industrial rubber products, sealing solutions, molded rubber parts, hoses, belts, or related polymer products.

- Exposure to domestic and international markets would be an added advantage.
