Position Overview:
The CEO will be a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the online microfinance bank. This includes optimizing processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, driving operational efficiency, and aligning operational goals with the organizations vision. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of online banking, financial services, and digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Operations Management:
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the banks objectives.
- Oversee daily banking operations, ensuring smooth, secure, and efficient service delivery.
Technology and Innovation:
- Collaborate with the technology team to ensure the banks digital platform is scalable, user-friendly, and secure.
- Stay updated with fintech trends and incorporate innovative solutions to enhance customer experience.
Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Develop risk management frameworks and implement robust operational controls.
Customer Experience:
- Champion a customer-centric culture by ensuring seamless onboarding, transactions, and service support.
- Monitor customer feedback and refine processes to enhance satisfaction.
Financial and Resource Management:
- Work closely with the CFO to manage budgets, financial performance, and operational costs.
- Optimize resource allocation to achieve organizational goals efficiently.
Team Leadership:
- Build and lead a high-performing operations team.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- Proven experience in a Senior operational role handling operations management, Experience in banking, fintech, or financial services. (IS A MUST)
- Deep understanding of digital banking platforms, cybersecurity, and online customer engagement.
- In-dept knowledge of product development and market trends.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks governing financial institutions.
- Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, team management and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
