Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Location: Gurgaon / Haryana
Reporting To: Managing Director & Founder
Team: CXO Leadership Team & Business Unit Heads
Role Overview:
The CEO will lead the end-to-end strategic, operational, commercial, and governance agenda of Piccadily Agro, a diversified group. This role is responsible for driving sustained profitability, operational excellence, brand expansion, market leadership, corporate governance, and organizational transformation while working closely with the Founder to execute the long-term vision of the Group.
Key Responsibilities:
A. Strategy & Vision:
- Lead the development and execution of the companys multi-business strategy aligned with the Founders long-term vision.
- Drive expansion in domestic and global markets across spirits and new verticals.
- Identify new revenue streams, partnerships, JV opportunities, and downstream/upstream integrations.
B. Business Operations & P&L Leadership:
- Oversee the performance of all manufacturing units, distilleries, sales & distribution networks, and corporate functions.
- Enhance operational efficiency, throughput, and productivity across supply chain, procurement, production, and logistics.
- Drive full-spectrum P&L accountability ensuring robust budgeting, forecasting, cost optimization, and margin expansion.
C. Regulatory, Legal & Governance Oversight:
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory frameworks including excise, FSSAI, environmental norms, labour laws, pollution control, legal metrology, and state-wise licensing.
- Strengthen internal controls, SOPs, statutory governance, and risk mitigation systems across all business units.
- Liaise with government bodies, regulatory authorities, and legal teams to safeguard business continuity and compliance.
D. Commercial, Sales & Brand Growth:
- Accelerate market share expansion across alco-bev and FMCG categories through strong brand positioning, marketing innovation, and channel development.
- Drive pricing strategy, distribution expansion, and customer experience excellence.
- Build strategic alliances with distributors, modern trade, HoReCa, export partners, and institutional clients.
E. People Leadership & Culture:
- Build a high-performance culture anchored in accountability, ethics, innovation, and customer centricity.
- Mentor and develop the leadership team; ensure succession planning and talent strengthening across the organisation.
- Foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and operational discipline across all units.
F. Innovation, Sustainability & ESG:
- Lead digital transformation initiatives across operations, including automation, ERP, analytics, and compliance systems.
- Champion sustainability, water stewardship, waste reduction, renewable energy adoption, and ESG frameworks.
- Support R&D initiatives in new product development, value-added agro solutions, and premium spirits.
G. Founder & Board Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Founder to translate organisational vision into actionable strategies and execution plans.
- Provide timely business insights, dashboards, risk assessments, and performance reviews to the Board.
- Serve as the face of the company for investors, strategic partners, government stakeholders, and industry bodies.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Experience:
- 2230 years of experience with at least 10 years in CXO/Business Head roles in Alco-Bev, Food & Beverages, FMCG, Agro-processing, Distillery, Hospitality, or Manufacturing sectors.
- Demonstrated success in scaling multi-location, regulated businesses with strong P&L ownership.
- Proven experience in managing regulatory-heavy operations (Excise, Pollution, Food Safety, Labour).
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong strategic acumen with the ability to manage diversified business portfolios.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing excellence, supply chain, sales, and brand management.
- High EQ with a founder-oriented, entrepreneurial mindset.
- Strong stakeholder management across regulators, industry associations, partners, and government bodies.
- Ability to build and lead high-performing cross-functional teams.
Education:
- MBA / CA / Engineering / Masters in Business, Operations, or related fields.
- Additional certifications in leadership, governance, or industry-specific disciplines are preferred
