Key Responsibilities:

- Lead technology engineering initiatives for complex defence systems, platforms, and technology-driven solutions.

- Drive development of applications involving drones/UAVs, missiles, autonomous systems, weapons platforms, and other advanced defence technologies.

- Leverage expertise from automotive, autonomous mobility, robotics, and related engineering domains to develop and translate capabilities into defence applications.

- Lead and guide teams across Production Engineering, Systems Engineering, and advanced defence technology development.

- Drive technology development with a strong focus on drone/UAV technologies and autonomous systems.

- Build and scale the defence technology practice, including technical teams, engineering capabilities, and technology solution offerings.

- Drive technology ideation, innovation, prototyping, and execution with a strong results-oriented approach.

- Contribute proven success stories involving defence technology engineering and development to the organisation's technology capabilities.

- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify emerging technology opportunities and develop new defence-focused solutions.

- Identify opportunities to apply Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Generative AI, and other AI technologies within defence applications.

- Drive the development and adoption of AI-enabled solutions across defence technology use cases.

- Bring demonstrated experience in developing and deploying AI applications within private-sector environments.

Required Candidate Profile:

- Senior technology leadership experience in defence technology, aerospace, autonomous systems, robotics, or related advanced engineering domains.

- Strong technical expertise across complex software, hardware, systems engineering, and technology development.

- Hands-on or leadership experience with drones/UAVs, autonomous systems, robotics, or other defence platforms.

- Experience translating automotive, autonomous mobility, robotics, or adjacent technologies into defence applications.

- Strong experience leading Production Engineering, Systems Engineering, or advanced technology engineering teams.

- Proven track record of developing and scaling technology capabilities, teams, and solution offerings.

- Demonstrated success in defence technology engineering and development projects.

- Strong understanding of AI, ML, Computer Vision, Generative AI, and emerging AI technologies.

- Demonstrated experience developing AI applications in the private sector.

- Strong strategic thinking, innovation, problem-solving, and execution capabilities.

- Ability to work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional technology teams.
