Chief Engineering Head

Description:

Key Responsibilities:

- Technical Oversight: Review designs, drawings (GFC, working), BIM models, and documentation for accuracy, code compliance, and efficiency; provide input on technical decisions and value engineering.

- Project & Design Management: Lead design workshops, manage engineering packages, track progress, and ensure timely, budget-compliant delivery.

- Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with architects, MEP/structural consultants, internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Projects), vendors, and authorities for approvals (permissions, NOCs).

- Strategy & Standards: Develop and implement engineering strategies, workflows, and quality management systems (QMS); ensure adherence to global/local codes and sustainability standards (LEED, GRIHA).

- Budget & Risk: Oversee capital expenditure, cost estimates, and risk mitigation; track budgets and financial reporting.

- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, mentor staff; foster a performance-driven culture; manage disputes and resolve issues.

- MEP Specifics: Draft design briefs, RFPs, coordinate HVAC/electrical design, and oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of systems (chillers, etc.).
