Chief Compliance Officer - Middle Layer - NBFC

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the overall Compliance function and regulatory governance.

- Ensure adherence to RBI regulations, guidelines and regulatory requirements.

- Manage RBI inspections, regulatory reporting, compliance monitoring and remediation.

- Identify and manage regulatory-compliance risks.

- Develop and strengthen compliance policies, frameworks and controls.

- Provide compliance advisory to business and senior management.

- Present key compliance matters and regulatory risks to the MD/Board.

- Manage senior stakeholders and lead the compliance team.

Requirements:

- 15+ years of Compliance experience in NBFCs.

- Mandatory experience in an RBI-classified Middle Layer NBFC (NBFC-ML).

- Strong hands-on RBI regulatory compliance experience.

- Exposure to RBI inspections and regulatory interactions.

- Strong MD/CEO/Board-level reporting experience.

- Smart, confident, articulate with strong decision-making and stakeholder-management skills.
