Key Responsibilities:
Regulatory Compliance (GIFT City / IFSC):
- Ensure full compliance with IFSCA, and other applicable regulations for IFSC operations.
- File mandatory reports, regulatory returns, and disclosures on time.
- Maintain PMLA, KYC, and AML compliance for cross-border client transactions.
- Act as the primary contact for regulatory audits, inspections, and communications.
Risk & Audit Management:
- Develop and monitor internal compliance frameworks and SOPs.
- Conduct regular compliance checks, internal audits, and risk assessments.
- Report compliance status and risk exposure to management and the Board.
Operational Oversight:
- Supervise client onboarding documentation and transaction monitoring.
- Ensure trade surveillance and reporting as per IFSC norms.
- Coordinate with business, operations, and legal teams to mitigate regulatory risks.
Policy & Training:
- Draft and update compliance policies and manuals for IFSC operations.
- Train employees and stakeholders on compliance requirements.
- Stay updated with changes in IFSCA regulations.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of IFSCA, SEZ, FEMA, PMLA and other regulations.
- Prior experience in GIFT CITY IM compliance.
- Ability to liaise effectively with regulators and handle audits independently.
- Detail-oriented with strong risk management and governance skills.
