Chief Compliance Officer - Banking

This role is a contract of employment for a period of 2 years only. Candidates who are less than 55 years of age and having 15 years experience of Compliance, Legal, Audit and Risk Management need to apply,

Role & Responsibility:

- Managing the Country's compliance risk and providing support to the Managing Director to ensure compliance.

- Assessing the compliance risks faced by the business and to ensure that the Bank appropriately manages those risks.

- Disseminating regulations to business and support function and provide ongoing advisory services to ensure that the bank operates in accordance with all regulatory and legal requirements and Head office compliance standards.

- Overseeing and monitoring the implementation of the compliance program.

- Correspondence with the regulators RBI, AML regulator, FEMA etc and IT System Implementation.

- Liaison with FIU IND, SEBI, IRDA, CDSL, IBA and other statutory, regulatory and self-regulatory authorities

- Designed and implemented Compliance Policy and Compliance Process for the Bank in line with RBI requirements

- Provide compliance opinions to the users on applicability of regulatory laws in relation to activities of the bank.

- Preparing and presenting clear and concise compliance reports to the management.

- Promoting a compliance culture.

- Providing guidance, advice, and/or training and educational programs, to improve business' understanding of related laws and regulatory requirements.

- Ability and willingness to single-handedly conduct all compliance related functions.

Experience Profile:

- CA/CS/PGDM experience with 20+ years' work experience

- Banking industry experience is mandatory

- Must have dealt directly with RBI as a regulator

- Must have dealt with Senior Board Members & Independent Directors in the past assignment.

- Take ownership of and strengthen the Compliance culture at the organisation.
